Congratulations! MICC graduate Signe will soon be celebrating 5 years of working at Brookdale Senior Living! Signe’s responsibilities include busing tables, serving food, setting tables, taking beverage orders, doing light cleaning, and helping where needed.
Signe shared her favorite part about her position, “I consider the residents my grandparents. I enjoy making them smile, laugh and spoiling them. Some residents are living their final days, and I like serving them good food and desserts.” Signe’s advice for participants starting a new job is, “Be flexible, open and honest. You can say, ‘I don’t like this but I’ll give it a try.’”
