Workplace Readiness V

MICC is excited to introduce Career Confidence, a new two-day-per-week career and social skills program for neurodivergent adults ages 18+, including individuals with autism and learning differences.

This program supports young adults as they get ready for what’s next. You’ll learn and visit different employers, practice healthy workplace habits, and build confidence through social and work experiences—all in an inclusive and welcoming place.

This program meets two times each week. You’ll get to learn through real-world activities and work with others who want to reach similar goals. The first 4-week program cycle begins in January, and you can join any month you’re ready to begin.

Sessions will take place both on MICC’s campus and offsite in the community for authentic, real-world exploration.

Career Confidence gives participants a safe space to learn, grow, and connect with others. It’s about exploring the next steps, trying out real-world experiences, and being part of a supportive community that celebrates every step forward.

Participants will:

  • Learn everyday work skills and practice communication
  • Connect with peers and community professionals
  • Explore their interests and different career options
  • Experience MICC’s welcoming, inclusive environment
  • This program is a fun, flexible way to keep learning, build confidence, and stay connected—whether on its own or alongside other MICC programs.

Explore. Connect. Grow.
– Build confidence, community, and career skills at your own pace. We can’t wait to see you on campus!
