MICC CEO Amy Gudmestad appeared on WCCO Radio’s The Sheletta Show on Saturday, October 25. Amy and Sheletta discussed what’s next for young adults with autism after they graduate from high school!

Highlighting MICC’s mission, Amy referenced our new MICC programs Career Confidence and Connect aiming to help neurodivergent adults gain skills in employment and social activities.

Amy shared details about each program, describing “One is about Career Confidence and how you build your confidence to go out into the world to get a job, to be able to interact with your coworkers while still being safe and not vulnerable in the workroom or the break room. We are also launching a social skills program [Connect] that is really going to address that vulnerability on understanding communication, what is a friend, and how are you interacting with people, what people are good for you and what people are not so great for you, and why. So we have two new programs that we’re launching and they’re not nearly as intensive as the College program. They’re a nice stepping stone into the real world and building your confidence there!”
