Get Involved at MICC

Be a part of MICC’s vision to create a world where autistic and neurodivergent adults thrive, are accepted and valued.

MICC can provide its transformative education and training through the commitment of its leadership and staff, and the cultivation of a broad network of public and private partners. It takes the commitment of all our employees, supporters, benefactors, employers and board members to ensure accessibility to our programs and opportunities for participants across Minnesota and nationwide.

Your time, talents, financial support and partnership directly contributes to MICC participants living independently, working purposefully and thriving in community.

Every person is unique. MICC programs focus on the whole person and are customized according to each person’s talents, goals and support needs. The demand for MICC is higher than ever. For example, 1 in 34 8-year-olds are diagnosed with autism in Minnesota. While diagnoses continue to improve, we know this is still an inaccurate representation as many individuals are identified in their teens, into adulthood or remain undiagnosed. While most neurodivergent children receive school-based services, there is a sharp fall-off in support as they transition into adulthood. Programs and services become even more sparse as they reach 26.

That is why MICC is here, — and why we need our partners — to educate and guide MICC participants in creating and sustaining the lives they want to live.

Invest in MICC

In 1996, MICC began with 13 participants. In 2026, we’re continuing to expand and advance to meet the growing needs of neurodivergent individuals and their families. MICC is expanding our program pathways, investing in our facilities and infrastructure, and increasing financial readiness education and accessibility to participants and families while recruiting and retaining our best-in-industry staff.
