MICC graduate Stephanie ‘24 has been working at the Learning Tree for just over 6 months. Learning Tree is a childcare facility where Stephanie assists with facilitating play, toileting, snack time, and creating a safe environment.
Her favorite part about her job is interacting with the kids. Her advice to others wanting to work in childcare is to engage with the kids and be present because it’s all about them! She also shared that it’s important to learn your childcare center’s rules and routine because everyone is different.
