see for yourself!
There is a saying, if you can see it, you can be it! At MICC, you will see autistic and neurodivergent individuals doing things that they never imagined they would be doing just a year ago. Whether it’s taking the bus to the gym for a workout or applying for a promotion at work, you will be inspired by the achievements you witness all around you, big and small. Soon, it won’t be hard to see yourself building a career, using your voice, living a life that is uniquely yours!
Guided Application
Process
One of MICC’s principles is great communication and it begins with a deliberate admissions process. Let the conversation begin!
programs built for you
MICC programs are holistic individualized pathways to healthy independence, meaningful employment and social engagement.
At MICC, diversity, equity and inclusion are essential to
our vibrant learning community. It is vital that everyone receives the tools to
succeed and thrive regardless of neurotype, race, ethnicity, nationality, age,
religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability status
or any other identity. We embrace diverse perspectives and create a supportive
environment for all to discuss, challenge and explore how we can continuously
enrich the MICC community.

resource Readiness
MICC exists because we know independence can be taught through skill-, resource- and relationship-building. Choosing MICC is an investment in your future; a commitment to building the life you want to live. Whether it’s leaving your family home or training for a new career, we want to make sure you get the most out of your MICC experience. So, let’s talk resource readiness!
Resource readiness is having a plan for how you will make the most out of your investment in MICC. When we say investment, we don’t just mean financially, but mentally and emotionally as well.
MICC is here to help as you begin developing your resource readiness plan!
The best first step is to Schedule a Tour. Our tours are typically conducted by an Admissions specialist and often a MICC participant ambassador. It’s a great way to learn about our programs and begin the Admissions conversation.
MICC offers need-based financial assistance for College program participants (See College Admissions). Most MICC families have a plan that is a mix of private pay, financial assistance (College only) and third-party funding sources. We also offer education about the resources available to help individuals and families afford our programs. See Admission Events.
The direct cost for MICC courses and supports may be substantially lessened through various funding sources often available to participants with disabilities, such as waivers (in Minnesota, the consumer-directed community support (CDCS) option, and in Wisconsin, Include, Respect, I Self-Direct (IRIS)), other county services, and MICC’s need-based Financial Assistance. MICC participants are not eligible to apply for federal student aid (FAFSA).
