September 17-19, 2010
You won’t want to miss this retreat. The camp will fill up fast so gather your friends and sign up now. Go to http://npcwomensretreat.eventbrite.com/ or grab a brochure in the Narthex.
Rev. Judy Howard Peterson, Campus pastor for North Park UniversityPastor Judy’s ministry skills and passion are her hallmark. "My gifts (in ministry) are more for non-believers, they're more for outreach," she said, "I am so committed to Kingdom ministry. I love stirring the pot . . . and I love giving people a way to do evangelism."
Judy is passionate about communicating good news in everyday language, speaking to audiences about how to put feet to their faith. Her passion for walking it out took the form of walking across the United States for her internship toward her Master of Divinity degree at North Park Theological Seminary. While the walk across the United States is how Judy first received the name “the walking pastor,” it is her day-to-day desire to walk into the lives of others that continues to make the title well deserved.
