If you attend MICC, you are part of Women Ministries here!  We encourage you to find your niche here.  There are so many ways that you can be involved with other women and with our community.  God has chosen you to be a unique contributor and participant in His family here.  Please feel free to join us at any time, in whatever state you find yourself.  If you are lonely, we will be your friends.  If you are looking for a ministry, we can help you find something special to be involved in.  If you want to know more about the Christian life or if you want to grow in God’s Word, we encourage you to join one of our morning or evening study/fellowship groups. 

 WE HEARD YOU and We’re RESPONDING TO YOUR REQUESTS!

Last Spring we took some surveys of our women who attend both morning and studies, and we took note of several common needs.  We want to be sensitive to the challenges our women are facing:

• LIMITED TIME available

• CONNECTION and COMMUNITY needs

• PRAYER needs

• HOMEWORK LIMITATIONS

• Desire to STUDY

• Desire to REACH OUT to others in new ways

• Encouragement of all forms of BIBLE STUDY

What’s new this year? 

• New Fall Kickoff will be on a September Sunday morning instead of an extra night out.  Please come up to the Fellowship Hall on September 7^th for a look at all of the ministries our women are involved in.  You may find one or several groups that you would like to know more about. Ministry Boards will be available for your information during the 9:45 hour between services.  That’s the same time as the Adult Sunday School kickoff, but you should have time to do both.  We have a SPECIAL GIFT for all women who come up and visit!

•  New Identities for our morning and evening Bible Studies.  We are dropping the labels in order to be more inclusive.  After all, our studies are simply designed for those who are available during certain times.  ALL WOMEN are invited to either the morning or evening study, or BOTH!  Several women do attend both studies in order to get to know other women or do something different, since the emphasis is quite different in each study.

• New Emphasis for our Thursday morning study.  This year we will be HEARERS and DOERS of the Word, as Christ commanded. Tami and Judy will be team teaching the Word, followed by opportunities to act upon what we’re learning, both inside and outside the walls of the church.  Come and find out how you can be involved in this new approach to Bible Study!

• New Approach to Leadership will give many women an opportunity to be involved in their areas of giftedness.  We’re adding to our leadership board in order to include women who are involved in both daytime and evening ministries.  We’re also providing new positions for those who haven’t traditionally been up front, but would like to be helpful in other ways.  We believe that everyone has something to offer, and we’re opening the doors to service while ministering to those who have need of just being loved.
