VACATION BIBLE CAMP ~ MONDAY, JULY 21st - FRIDAY, JULY 25st (9:30am - 12:30pm)

Come have a blast this summer! Sign up your kids (ages K-6 grade) for Power Lab, where they'll discover Jesus' miraculous power! This is the spot that's oozing with adventure, new friends, hyperspeed games, sonic music, crafts, treats and more! If you know you are ready to register, let's get started! Cascades Camp

We encourage all our elementary children to attend camp during their age appropriate week. This beautiful camp, located at the base of Mount Rainier in Yelm, Wa. has horse camp, Brightwood Station Train camp, and Camp TimberRock. This will be the best week of their summer! Please see www.cascadescamp.org  for registration and more information. We also usually have a group of 50 or more from our congregation going to Labor Day Family Camp as a great end to Summer!

New Program for Mothers of Preschoolers ~ MOPS

MOPS is a program for mothers of young children ages birth - K. Starting on September 15, 2006 and meeting every 1st and 3rd Friday of each month, women will gather from 9:15 - 11:30 a.m. for refreshments and social interaction as well as an informative teaching time on a variety of subjects relating to building stronger homes, raising children, and creative ideas and crafts. While mothers are meeting, their children "Moppets" will participate in a loving and caring learning experience. Check the  Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)  page for more information.

 

Our regular Sunday School Classes meet at 9:45am.

Our classes meet as follows:

Nursery	Room 108	Ages 3 months – 2 years
	Our loving volunteers care for and play with the children in our newly remodeled nursery. We have infant swings, cribs, and lots of clean and safe toys to keep our little ones occupied.
Preschool	Room 107	2 & 3 years
	Our teachers use Group's Hands-on Curriculum. These lessons are interactive with Bible application. They also have craft and song time in our newly remodeled preschool room. Each child also contributes canned goods to our community "Food Pantry" which supplies food to those less fortunate.
Pre-Kindergarten	Room 117	4 & 5 years
	This is Godly Play exploring Bible truths through wondering questions. Each child takes a turn bringing a "feast" for the class to enjoy.
Kindergarten -1st grades	Room 202
	This combined class uses the Young Children in Worship Curriculum.
2nd-3rd grades	Room 203
4th & 5th grades	Room 201
	Our elementary aged children use the Promiseland Curriculum. Each week the children are taught Biblical principles with fun, relevant Bible games and activities. Bible verse memorization is encouraged and rewarded. There is an emphasis on relationship building facilitated by their small group shepherd leader. One Sunday each quarter, the children have the opportunity to ask Jesus into their lives or rededicate their lives to Him.

We also offer Children’s Church for Pre-K through 2nd grade in room 117. The children attend the first part of the worship service and are then dismissed before the sermon for an age appropriate lesson. The teachers are James and Doris Cassan.

The purpose of our Sunday morning classes is to nurture all children in their spiritual walk with Jesus. For some it may be the first time they hear about their Savior and for others it is a place where they can go deeper in their walk with our Lord. Our classes are designed to teach the Word of God in a relevant way to each age level in an environment of grace and encouragement. The goal of our ministry is to support parents and care givers in their God given responsibility as spiritual trainers for their children.
