We
started the Asian Congregation 20 years ago with 60
families from Cambodia and Laos. These families
needed help making the transition from their country
to the United States. We used our time together to
support them thru challenges with immigration and
helped them to improve their English speaking skills
while teaching them about Jesus Christ’s love and
sacrifice.
Today we teach a Sunday morning service to our
Asian congregation using English as the primary
language translating words and ideas as needed to
understand God’s word. The Small Group style of the
service helps to build lasting relationships and is
designed to be culturally comfortable so everyone
feels able to participate.
Semi-Annually, we host
an outreach service that attracts 175 friends,
family and relatives.
